Meet Will, a standout student from Douglass High School!

Will recently participated in ACT Prep Saturdays, an exciting event hosted at Douglass High School, made possible through community collaboration and partnerships with OCE. This event wasn’t your typical test prep — thanks to the incredible Douglass High educators, it was an engaging, high-energy day packed with fun!

ACT Prep Saturday combined interactive games, team challenges, and prize incentives like gift cards, JBL speakers, and other awesome rewards to motivate students to give it their all. The goal was simple but powerful: to make test preparation exciting, supportive, and student-centered — and it worked!

Will shined brightly throughout the event. An incredibly intelligent young man, Will is not only an academic force but also an avid tennis player and a longtime participant in the First Serve program. During ACT Prep Saturday, he crushed his practice test scores and won a brand-new JBL speaker! His determination, positive attitude, and drive to succeed left everyone feeling hopeful and inspired for the future.

But Will’s story is just one reflection of the excellence that walks the halls of Douglass High School every day. The amazing educators behind students like Will are the true foundation of this success — their passion, mentorship, and belief in their students are what make moments like these possible.
