Katie Kinder serves on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Citizens for Education (OCE), where she brings unmatched energy, authenticity, and heart to the mission of uplifting educators and transforming public education. A former classroom teacher and instructional coach, Katie has been a passionate voice for teachers since 2006—using her platform to inspire, empower, and remind educators why their work matters.
Katie is the founder of Premier Professional Development and a national consultant and PD leader with Relate Then Educate. She’s also a public speaking professional, podcast host, and the author of Untold Teaching Truths, Hallway Leadership, and Culture First Classrooms. Her TEDx Talk continues to resonate with audiences far beyond Oklahoma, capturing her belief that life is fun—and learning should be too.
From being named a Top 5 District Teacher of the Year to building a national following as #ThatTealGlassesLady, Katie is known for her candid storytelling, contagious optimism, and unwavering advocacy for the teaching profession. At OCE, she helps lead educator outreach, professional development strategy, and public engagement—making sure every teacher feels seen, valued, and supported.
