Our Story
Oklahoma Citizens for Education (OCE) was founded to address the systemic challenges facing Oklahoma’s education system. Chronic underfunding, inequitable resource distribution, and high teacher turnover have created significant barriers to success for students and educators alike. OCE bridges the gap by bringing together communities, businesses, stakeholders, and existing organizations into our schools to create innovative, and scalable solutions. Increase effectiveness by collaborating with others to collectively solve known issues, and propel us back to the top. At one time Oklahoma was in the Top 20 for Education. Now we are in the very bottom. We must work together to improve the health of our students, teachers, and education system in Oklahoma.
